1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to RecipeMaster. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RecipeMaster website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by RecipeMaster.
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
RecipeMaster is an AI-powered recipe management platform that allows users to:
- Create, store, and organize personal recipes
- Generate recipes using artificial intelligence
- Track recipe versions and modifications
- Plan meals and generate shopping lists
- Share recipes with the community (Premium feature)
- Interact with other users through likes, comments, and follows (Premium feature)
3. Accounts
Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
Account Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
4. Subscription Plans
Free Plan
The Free Plan includes limited features: up to 50 recipes, 5 AI generations per month, personal collections, and meal planning.
Premium Plan
The Premium Plan ($3/month) includes unlimited recipes, 50 AI generations per month, community access, PDF export, and all Free Plan features.
Billing
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and it will remain active until the end of your billing period.
Refunds
Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@recipemasterai.com for assistance.
5. User Content
Your Content
You retain ownership of recipes, images, and other content you create on RecipeMaster ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.
Content Guidelines
You agree not to post content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware, spam, or phishing attempts
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Contains inappropriate or offensive material
- Impersonates another person or entity
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.
6. AI-Generated Content
RecipeMaster uses artificial intelligence to generate recipes and suggestions. AI-generated content:
- Is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy or completeness
- Should be reviewed before use, especially for allergies and dietary restrictions
- May contain errors in measurements, cooking times, or instructions
- Is subject to usage limits based on your subscription plan
You are responsible for verifying the safety and suitability of any AI-generated recipes before preparing or consuming them.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by RecipeMaster and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
The RecipeMaster name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of RecipeMaster. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information, recipes, or content available through the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECIPEMASTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RecipeMaster and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
